The GCD wants to hear about the experiences of people with disabilities regarding their experiences with Public Transportation.

The GCD is asking public transit users with disabilities to share their experiences with:
- Fixed Route Accessibility
- Paratransit (RIDE)
- Ride Anywhere
- Non-Emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT)
- Barrier-Free Bus stops
- Trip Lengths and Service Cuts
The Governor’s Commission on Disabilities is the state agency that advocates for the rights of Rhode Islanders with Disabilities to live full, independent lives in the community. We hold public forums to learn the concerns of people with disabilities. We bring these concerns to the attention of the state legislature and the other state agencies to improve the lives of Rhode Islanders. For more information visit http://gcd.ri.gov.
